RFP For Clean Air Technologies In San Joaquin, California

San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control DistrictLast week the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) announced a Request For Proposal (RFP) for “$4 million to advance the development and to accelerate the deployment of clean air technologies for near and long term emissions reductions.” The RFP states nitrogen oxide (NOX) emission reduction technologies in the following areas are of particular importance to the SJVAPCD: (1) Renewable Energy; (2) Waste Solutions; (3) Mobile Sources.

On July 2, 2014, the SJVAPCD is hosting a workshop for interested applicants. The deadline for applications is August 15, 2014, and announcement of awards is expected to be in December 2014.
