Jerome Goldstein Scholarship Fund
The Jerome Goldstein Scholarship for EcoEntrepreneuring will support student researchers at the the Rutgers University EcoComplex in Bordentown, New Jersey. The Goldstein family selected the Rutgers’ EcoComplex as it integrates composting, anaerobic digestion, compost utilization, agricultural production, renewable energy and enterprise development.
Jerry graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1952. The EcoComplex describes itself as “Rutgers University’s Alternative Energy Innovation and Environmental Research and Extension Center. It is the nation’s first research, technology development and outreach center dedicated to enhancing environmental, alternative energy and agricultural innovation through education, outreach and green business development.” Its mission is to promote economic development in the environmental and alternative energy arenas, including testing and verifying innovations, remediation and protection of environmental quality, and the compatible sectors of food and innovative agriculture.
