Dedicated Food Waste Digester Opens In Ontario
Harvest Power’s new anaerobic digester in London, Ontario includes three holding tanks for incoming feedstocks, a thermophilic acidification reactor that heats substrates to 131°F where they are held for three days and two mesophilic digesters.

Facility in London, Ontario is ramping up to process 71,500 tons/year of food industry residuals. Digestate will be heat-dried into fertilizer products.

Biomethane Production At Ontario Wastewater Treatment Plant
The City of Hamilton is upgrading its treatment plant to process higher flows and add tertiary treatment. Changes will result in more biogas generation in the digesters.

The City of Hamilton is purifying biogas and injecting it into the grid, while continuing to generate power and recover heat from its CHP system.
