High Solids AD System Rep

Thöni Industrielbetriebe GmbH ( has appointed Yield Biogas Systems as its official representative for its high solids anaerobic digestion systems for Canada and the United States. “Yield will be a tremendous addition to our global team and with their help we will be able to succeed in selling and deploying our premium high solids AD systems in the North American marketplace,” said Michael Krismer, Global Director for Environmental Systems, Thöni. Yield will also provide local support for all new Thöni customers.

Company Acquisitions

Morbark, LLC announced that an affiliate of Stellex Capital Management has acquired the company. The acquisition is focused on providing growth capital and resources to significantly expand Morbark in the future. “Our acquisition of Morbark is a great fit for us,” explained David Waxman, Principal of Stellex. “The company is well positioned to grow in the coming years, and we are confident that the capital and resources we bring will fuel that growth.” Lon Morey, Morbark CEO and son of the founder, said, “Though always difficult to leave a family business … we are confident that the Stellex group will be able to take Morbark to the next level of excellence and growth.”

Heritage Bag Company (HBC), a manufacturer of plastic can liners and other packaging products based in Dallas, Texas, was acquired by Novolex, a Wind Point Partners and TPG Growth portfolio company and a North American leader in packaging and sustainability. With the addition of Heritage, Novolex is now a $2.3 billion revenue company with over 6,000 employees and 43 manufacturing locations in North America, including two recycling facilities.
