About Us

Founded in 1960 by Jerome Goldstein as the journal, Compost Science, BioCycle is the go-to resource on composting, organics recycling, anaerobic digestion and biogas, end product markets, policies and regulations, and community outreach and education.

From 1960 to 2019, BioCycle was a print magazine. In 2020, we transitioned to digital only through our weekly e-newsletter, BioCycle CONNECT, and our newly relaunched website, BioCycle.net.

BioCycle is recognized worldwide as the Authority on Organics Recycling, dedicated to the advancement of composting and compost utilization, organics recycling, anaerobic digestion and biogas, recycled organics utilization, sustainable infrastructure, and resilient soils and food systems.
