A&B Process Systems
Specializes in the design, fabrication, automation, testing and installation of high quality stainless steel process skids/super skids, tanks, auxiliary equipment and piping systems. American Anaerobic Digestion, Inc.
AAD combines the best features of the materials recovery facility (MRF) with the Induced Blanket Reactor (IBR) method of anaerobic digestion to form the Material and Energy Recovery Facility (MERF). The IBR method, in concert with preprocessing tailored to the waste stream, is equally applicable to the treatment of mixed waste, organics-rich fractions of dirty MRFs, source separated organics, wastes from the food processing industry and biosolids.

BACKHUS North America, Inc.
BACKHUS offers mobile turners for triangular windrows with turning capacities of 500 to 6,800 m3 per hour; mobile turners for trapezoidal windrows for heavy duty work in trapezoidal windrow composting with a turning capacity of 2,000 m3 per hour; and fully automatic lane turner for effective waste management in enclosed facilities. DODA U.S.A., Inc.
North American partner of DODA, located in Buscoldo, Italy. Product lines include chopper pumps, agitators, separators, biogas mixers and accessories. New Urban Organics System converts bagged garbage, organic waste streams and MSW to useable digester substrate or compostable product.

The AgSTAR Program is a voluntary effort jointly sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Department of Energy. The program encourages biogas capture and utilization at animal feeding operations as a manure management method. These systems reduce emissions of methane, a greenhouse gas, while achieving other environmental benefits.

EPA Landfill Methane Outreach Program
LMOP provides information on landfill gas to energy projects (LFGE), including case studies of successful LFGE projects, future potential projects and current national activity. LMOP offers real-world experience to overcome barriers to further project development. Free services are available to determine the energy potential from landfills, locate potential markets for LFG and conduct project feasibility studies. LMOP provides networking services within the LFGE industry.

Entec Biogas USA/Reynolds, Inc.,
Reynolds, Inc., a U.S. water specialty firm, has partnered with Entec Biogas to offer North America an anaerobic digester design/build solution. Entec Biogas of Austria has over 25 years of experience with processing organic waste streams, including livestock manures such as pig, chicken and dairy, food residues, sorted organic waste from solid waste, biosolids, wastewater from the food industry and energy crops.

FABCO Power Systems/Ziegler Power Systems,
FABCO and Ziegler Power Systems are the authorized Caterpillar (CAT) engine distributors for Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Minnesota and Iowa. Both dealers specialize in packaging CAT engines and/or generator sets into combined heat and power (CHP) systems for operations using renewable energy fuel sources that include landfill gas, digester gas, synthetic biogas from biomass gasification and biodiesel.

Harvest Power
An organics management company that takes organic material from the MSW stream and processes it using anaerobic digestion, producing electricity, heat and natural gas. Harvest Power is also exploring compressed natural gas. The company follows up with aerobic digestion to produce high-quality compost. This process is unique in that dry fermentation is used, allowing capture of more of the solids in the waste stream.

Inland Power Group
Authorized distributor of GE Energy’s Jenbacher packaged generators sets and cogeneration (CHP) units in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan and Indiana. Inland offers the complete line of Jenbacher gas engines ranging from 330 KW to 3 MW. The technology makes it possible to treat environmentally offensive gases, e.g., from landfills, agriculture, coal mining, chemical plants and other industries.

Interstate PowerSystems
A 50-plus year-old company specializing in power generation systems, Interstate provides gas-fired single unit generators up to 3 MW built by Waukesha Dresser in Waukesha, Wisconsin as well as paralleling switch gear and controls. Systems provided are suitable for digesters, wastewater treatment plants and natural gas.

iWasteNot Systems
Provides material management websites, including, with materials exchanges, directories, guides, news, events and more. Annual subscription fee covers use of software, maintenance, hosting, website evolution to stay current with the Internet, support, etc.

Komptech USA Inc.
A leading international supplier of technology, machines and systems for the mechanical and biological treatment of solid waste and biomass. As a forward-looking organization, Komptech strives to achieve long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with customers, as well as employees and vendors.

Kraft Power Corporation
Distributor for large engines, generators (prime and standby power) and power transmission equipment, serving industrial, commercial, residential and marine markets. Kraft Power, headquartered in Massachusetts, has branches in New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina and Georgia. Planned and emergency service, equipment overhauls and conversions are offered from each branch. Power generators can be customized for combined heat and power, biogas and pumping requirements.

Martin Machinery
Products and services provided for renewable energy plants, from custom generator sets and heat recovery units to process control technologies. Martin Machinery first entered the biogas industry in 1982 and supplies electric biogas generator systems ranging from 50 to over 3,000 kW. Martin Machinery started GEN-TEC, a separate company in 2004, to build utility paralleling gear and custom designed paralleling switch gear. It designs new and rebuilt electric generator systems to operate using biogas, as well as services biogas units.

Organic Waste Systems
OWS has 25 years experience in construction and operation of anaerobic digestion plants for solid and semisolid feedstocks and biodegradability testing of biopolymers. Its mechanical and biological know-how has resulted in innovative and patented designs, with digester design adapted to each type of feedstock. OWS provides biogas consultancy and support as well as standard testing and analyses needed to obtain product certification and labeling for biodegradability and compostability.

Prairie Trailer
Markets walking floor trailers to the biomass and forestry industries. Prairie Trailer can convert a van trailer to a walking floor trailer built to customers’ specifications. Quality products, such as Keith Walking Floors and ShurCo tarps, are used in conversions. Prairie Trailer also has a large inventory of used trailers and is a dealer for the Innovative and Peerless brands. Trailer repair and refurbishing is also available, along with grit blasting and painting services.

Manufactures three different and unique compost mixers, in a range of sizes to handle any job, large or small. Roto-Mix has a vertical line and two horizontal lines of mixers available in truck, trailer or stationary models. Accessories include electronic scales, conveyors, stainless steel liners and shells. Roto-Mix has a complete line of compost spreaders, with vertical beaters, in truck or trailer models.

Scott Equipment Company
Scott Equipment is a manufacturer and global provider of custom processing equipment for agricultural and industrial markets. It designs and manufactures batch, as well as continuous, mixers and blenders, flash dryers, separation and size reduction equipment (i.e. crushers, shredders and fine grinders) and storage units. Scott Equipment offers customized solutions for specific applications.

Unison Solutions, Inc.
Founded in 2000, Unison Solutions provides biogas conditioning and distributed generation systems that are installed around the world at landfills, wastewater treatment facilities, dairies and food processing plants. Gas treatment and compression packages are available in sizes that range from 30 scfm up to 2000 scfm. The company is currently working on systems that are 8000 scfm. To date, 80 gas treatment and compression systems have been installed in the biogas marketplace.

US Composting Council
National organization dedicated to development and expansion of the composting and organics recycling industry. The USCC’s mission is achieved by supporting and performing research, promoting best management practices, establishing standards, educating professionals and the public about the benefits of composting and compost utilization, enhancing compost product quality, and developing markets for compost products. Annual Conference is scheduled for January 24-27, 2010 in Orlando, Florida.

Founded in 1972, WesTech supplies process equipment for water, wastewater and industrial applications. From screening and headworks to tertiary treatment, from petrochemical process to water reclamation and drinking water, from small communities to large cities and factories, WesTech offers standard and custom process solutions for efficient solids-liquid separation. West Salem Machinery Co.
West Salem delivers mill-duty machinery and systems, from small horizontal grinders to massive wood/bark hogs, to high volume screening/grinding systems. It can supply a customized machinery package, including grinding, screening and conveying equipment, to deliver a specifically sized product efficiently. Factory assistance with installation and start up is offered.

Xebec Adsorption
Xebec is a developer and supplier of proprietary and conventional gas purification systems for biogas/landfill production, natural gas processing, natural gas for NGVs, oil refining and compressor air.

Yield Energy Inc.
Yield Energy is a biogas facility developer, owner and operator with experience in the fields of power systems, biogas engineering and production, energy markets and environmental technology. Its technology partner is Finsterwalder Umwelttechnik GmbH & Co. (FITEC). The preprocessing and anaerobic digestion technology is designed for any type of organic inputs.
