The company known for making people’s junk disappear, 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, has compiled the top 10 weirdest junk items of all time. Since opening in 1989, with franchises across the United States, Canada, and Australia, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? teams have come across some “seriously strange junk,” notes the company. “So when we say nothing is too weird to haul away, we mean it!”

It ranked the top 3 weirdest items as follows:

  1. A goat statue with a matching bright blue wig and hooves, while wearing jeans and a leather jacket.
  2. A life size model tank replica that “makes our Truck Team Members look miniature.”
  3. A giant guitar that ‘surpasses the length of our truck box – that’s over 10 feet long!’

We looked at the pictures and descriptions, and think the giant dog bone hauled away in Tampa, Florida ranks pretty high, as does the donut in a sombrero from the Twin Cities in Minnesota, used as a mascot to promote a movie in 2008. We concur about the goat. But perhaps the most fun is this live video of a lipstick carousel from Boulder, Colorado. Says the caption: “While this antique lipstick carousel music box originated in Italy, it was discovered all the way in Boulder in 2019! If you think it looks cool from the outside, just wait until you see it in action!”
